Money- that handy Venmo QR code on this page will take you directly to Lift Up Lexington, where your monetary donation will go straight to Santa, to help us purchase toys and food for our pantry boxes this year. If you have a preference for your donation, let us know in the memo! We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit. There is also a Donate link at the top of this page that will take you to our donation link.

Toys- we accept new toys in their original packaging, and rely on your generation toy donations to help us fill Santa’s sleigh every year. We have partners around the Bluegrass that will gladly accept your toy donation for our pickup. As we get closer to Christmas, we will also accept them directly at this year’s Workshop location. In addition to toys, we always need batteries, diapers and new clothes as we do our best to make every delivery meet the needs of our families.

Food-our Pantry Boxes each year are based on specific recipes we include that will provide breakfast and a holiday themed meal for families. If you would like to donate food items from the pantry box list, drop us a message and we will let you know how to help. Our pantry boxes have become a very important part of our Christmas deliveries, and we know many of our families depend on them to help make their Christmas complete.

Time- we always love volunteers year round, but especially depend on our community the last few weeks before Christmas. We will have live sign-ups for volunteers to help at the Workshop, setting up our stores, helping shoppers and just generally making everything work smoothly. We will also need many volunteers to sign up for delivery shifts, where you will shop for individual families in our workshop and- most important of all- deliver that Christmas magic right to their doorstep.

Host a Drive- A toy, battery or diaper drive at your office, Scout troop or run club is a great way to collect much needed items for OSS. Similarly, a food drive with our Pantry Box item list can help make sure we can maximize the number of Pantry Boxes we can deliver this year. Message us at our Facebook page for more information.

How can I help year round?

Monthly donations- starting in 2024, we began accepting monthly donations through Zeffy. Pledging a monthly donation to our organization gives us funds we can depend on and budget for; helps cover year round logistics; and gives us a head start on securing the very best toys at the very best prices. Our shopping elves are the absolute thriftiest, and we can stretch those dollars the furthest if we can take advantage of pallet buys and liquidations as they become available. It’s the best way to carry the spirit of Christmas giving in your heart year round. Plus your donation comes with some fun OSS perks. If you can work a little giving into your monthly budget we would greatly appreciate the support.

A couple notes. We’re using a platform called Zeffy which is entirely free for us to use and operates on a tip based system which is completely adjustable by you. Since we want them to thrive and be around forever remember that there are additional commissions with credit card giving that they’ll be covering on our behalf. For the merch we will reach out in November to firm up mailing addresses, clothing sizes etc and items will ship early December.
